GETTING HERE

Driving in your own car or a hire car is a great way to get to Mt Buller. It's only a short 3-hour drive from Melbourne via the Hume Highway or Maroondah Freeway. No matter which route you take from Melbourne to Mt Buller you will drive through Mansfield - the closest major town to the Resort. Here you can hire snow chains for your vehicle, gear for the family and fill up on fuel (Diesel vehicles should top up with Alpine mix). From Mansfield follow the signs to Mt Buller. 

At the base of Mt Buller (Mirimbah) you will be required to stop at the gate entry point and show your pre-paid resort access and parking ticket. Once through the gate entry, continue up the road to Mt Buller carparks where you will be met by an attendant who will guide you to a parking spot. 

The car parks are a few kilometers below the resort. Due to snow conditions and very limited parking availability in the resort the public are not permitted to drive within the Mt Buller resort. To travel the last few kilometers to your accommodation you can either share a ride-share vehicle or organise a private transfer.

We strongly recommend you pre-purchase your resort entry, parking and village access products prior to arrival to take advantage of significant online prices.

When you arrive at Buller Central your ride-share or taxi will drop you off at our side entrance. Please ask them to take you to the West entrance behind the resource hut. Please call 5777 6818 or 0499004946 on arrival so someone can meet you at this entrance.

Alternatively if you are coming from the village square or bus depot you will arrive at our North entrance facing the village square.
